Workplace Supervision

Workplace Supervision
Sam Dudek Workplace Supervision

Workplace supervision is a confidential process that provides support to managers, team leaders, human resource staff, and health and safety personnel. It helps them manage their responsibilities, handle workplace challenges, and foster a positive work environment. Our tailored services aim to help individuals lead their teams to success by openly discussing their thoughts, emotions, and uncertainties. With our supervision, you can be confident in your ability to support your team through tough conversations and emotionally difficult times.

Overview of workplace supervision

Session Structure

Our supervision sessions are scheduled for one hour each. Employees can easily book their sessions through our system, with options for monthly or bi-monthly appointments, as well as an urgent response option. We offer flexible delivery options, including online sessions, in-office appointments, or on-site visits. We work with each organisation to determine the preferred method that is both convenient and effective.

Optional Programme Components

At Kōwhai Trades, we provide flexible supervision options to meet your team's needs. We can provide standalone supervision or a wider program that includes training running in conjunction with supervision. The training involves tailored workshops for supervisees as a group or  particular teams managed by the supervisee. These workshops are developed based on organisational requests or identified themes during supervision sessions. Training rotates bimonthly with the supervision sessions.

Programme Duration and Reporting

Our supervision programs usually span from six months to a year offering consistent support and growth. Every two months, organizations receive a comprehensive report that outlines the themes and issues observed during supervision, along with recommendations for the next steps.

Reporting and Recommendations

The final step of the psychosocial safety audit involves producing a comprehensive report that outlines the current state of workplace. This report highlights the strengths and areas for improvement, along with recommendations for both short-term and long-term cultural refinements. Additionally, we develop an action plan that includes quick wins to demonstrate commitment to change and strategies for embedding longer-term cultural.
